Terms and Conditions.

The launch Terms and Conditions are being drafted by our legal team and are not published yet. Nothing on this page is an offer, and nothing here binds you or us. It exists so that the links beside our acceptance checkboxes lead somewhere honest rather than nowhere at all.
What follows is the substance the product has already settled — the rules the portal is built on. The published document will say these things properly, and will say more besides.
Who you are contracting with
Your contract is with CRCLES CLUB LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom. You buy from CRCLES; the estate whose club you join is not your counterparty, and no producer charges you directly.
Membership
- Membership of a club runs for twelve months from the day it is activated, and each club runs its own cycle.
- The fee is charged in full at activation. It is not divided across the year, and joining part-way through does not reduce it.
- Membership buys wine: a hero package enters your cellar in bond at activation. It is not a subscription fee for access.
- Where the hero package is worth less than the fee, the difference lands in your club wallet as credit. Credit does not expire while you remain a member, and it can only be spent on that club's wines.
- These terms are accepted once, when you join. Renewal does not ask you to accept them again.
Your wine, and when it moves
- Wine you buy rests in a bonded warehouse until you ask for it. Nothing ships unasked, and no part of a membership causes a shipment.
- Storage is free for a period after your bottles reach our warehouse; after that a storage fee applies per bottle. Both are stated on your storage page.
- Shipping, duty and VAT are assessed when you request a shipment, against the destination you choose at that moment.
- A case sold as a single unit travels and is cancelled as a single unit. Where bottles were sold individually you may send or cancel any number.
Paying
- We hold no card numbers. Your card is stored with our payment provider and we see only its brand, its last four digits and its expiry.
- We write to you before we charge a renewal.
- Where a charge fails, your bottles are unaffected. Nothing is taken away while a payment is being resolved.
Cancelling and withdrawing
- You may withdraw an application to join a club at any time before the producer has decided. Your mandate is released and nothing is charged.
- A purchase may be cancelled within the cancellation period stated on the order.
- Turning off auto-renewal releases your place at the end of the cycle. Rejoining later depends on a place being free.
