Privacy Policy.
The launch Privacy Policy is being drafted by our legal team and is not published yet. It exists so that the links beside our acceptance checkboxes lead somewhere honest rather than nowhere at all.
What follows is the handling the product has already settled.
Who holds your data
CRCLES CLUB LTD, registered in the United Kingdom, is the controller of the personal data you give us.
What we hold
- Your name, email address, telephone number and date of birth.
- The addresses in your address book, and any company name and VAT number you add for invoicing.
- Your orders, invoices, shipments and the wine in your cellar.
- Anything you write to a producer when you apply to a club.
What we never hold
We do not store card numbers. Your card is held by our payment provider; we see only its brand, its last four digits and its expiry date. No surface in the portal ever displays a full card number, because we do not have one.
Who else sees it
- The producer whose club you apply to sees your application and, if you are admitted, that you are a member. They do not see your payment details.
- Our warehouse and carriers see the delivery address for a shipment you have asked for.
- Our payment provider and our accountants see what they need to take a payment and to keep our books.
Marketing
Marketing email is sent only with your consent, and you can withdraw that consent from your account at any time. Email about your orders, your account and your shipments is not marketing and does not depend on that consent.
How long we keep it
Records we are required to keep for financial and tax purposes are retained for ten years. Where you ask us to erase your data, the personal details are overwritten and only those required records remain.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Write to member-support@crcles.com.
